On July 11, 2026 the Fowler Township Historical Society will host the Fowler Home Day on the lawn of the Butts House in the center of Fowler, intersection of Rt 193 and Rt 305.  The parade will start at 12 pm and the fun games and activitivies will follow until 4 pm.  Come celebrate America's quinsemicentennial with us! 

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the annual Christmas Walk will be held in Fowler Center utilizing township buildings and the local churches, the Methodist Church and Community Church.

We are open every second Saturday of the month from 3-5:00 pm. except Septmeber 2026 and on special event days.  Tour reservations can also be made by appointment on other days.

On Memorial Day 2022 a special one-day exhibit featuring World War I and World War II artifacts was presented to honor 4 family members of Fowler citizens.  A memorial service was held on the green followed by a parade. The fire station served pizza and a beverage to the attendees after the parade.

On Saturday, May 6, 2023 Fowler Historical Society participated in the county Family Day at the Ward-Thomas House in Niles, Ohio.  Dave Cover demonstrated how corn seed was prepared for planting.  The photo shows a county volunteer helping to make a corn husk doll for a family that attended. 

The 2024 Family Day was held on June 1, 2024 at the Warren-Trumbull Library. Fowler Township Historical Society was represented by Denise Rising and Karen Dahman  they offered the participants  2 crafts to make including corn husk dolls and chromotropes.

The 2022 Auction and Car Show fundraiser held the last Sunday of August was a huge success. The Butts House was open for viewing and baskets donated by businesses, nonprofit organizations and  individuals citizens were won by many participants.  Cars and tractors were on display for the enjoyment of the attendees while music was played by a DJ on the lawn. Food was available at the United Methodist Church and the General Store with ice cream by Denmandale Dairy.

The David A. and Melissa Butts house was open during the Community Christmas Walk 2022.  Many people came to see the Fowler Historical Society's collection.  Vendors sold their wares at Fowler historical buildings including the Town Hall, the Township Garage, the General Store and the Community Center.  Lunch was available at the United Methodist Church and the General Store. Santa Claus was stationed at the General Store to listen to the Christmas wishes of local children and where hot chocolate was provided by Denmandale Dairy. 

 Community Day was held on July 29, 2023 on the Fowler Center Green.  Families and visitors enjoyed live music, games, a petting zoo, and food and drinks. The Fowler Township Historical Society sponsored a Discover Fowler activity so visitors could become familiar with Fowler.  It was sponsored by Liberty Bible Church, Fowler Community Church and the Fowler General Store and Bakery.
